Beaudoin, MacKenzie re-elected in Smyrna

SMYRNA – In an uncontested election Wednesday, Village of Smyrna Mayor Joseph Beaudoin and Trustee Bruce MacKenzie were re-elected to their positions. Beaudoin and MacKenzie each received a total of 17 votes.

Close race for village justice

GREENE – As of April 1, the Village of Greene will have a new justice, according to the results of Wednesday’s election. Republican newcomer Michael Dietrich defeated incumbent Dante Acunto by a margin of just 13 votes. While 1,018 residents are registered voters, only 121 cast ballots in the election. Of that number, 67 voted for Dietrich and 54 for Acunto.
