NORWICH – Undersheriff Ernest R. Cutting Jr., presents the Sheriff’s Officer of the Year Award to Corrections Officer John Marvin, Deputy Paul Slack and Communications Officer A. Wesley Jones, along with Sheriff Thomas J. Loughren.
The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office held its annual award ceremony recently honoring patrol, corrections and dispatch personnel.
The Joseph J. Benenati Jr. award was presented to Sergeant Christopher Miles. Also honored: Most Improved– Deputy Jeffrey Messina, C.O. Anna Chesebro and Dispatcher Harold Ives. Perseverance award– Deputy Cole Samsel and C.O. Mark Alemar.
