Pat Wictor returns to Six on the Square
OXFORD – Pat Wictor’s back. 6 On The Square (6OTS) is proud to announce Pat’s return to their stage at 7 :30 p.m. on Friday, April 24. Combine Wictor’s mesmerizing guitar sound, finely crafted lyrics, and an energized connection with his audience, and you have a musical performance that exudes a remarkable intergenerational, universal and timeless quality.
Wictor’s performances are a tour through the music that influenced him while growing up. Each song is sung with a voice that is clear- something especially true in an a cappella number.
His trademark instrument is his Guild DV 52 lap slide guitar. His incredibly skillful fingering has been described as “sizzling and snake-y,” creeping into your body and wending its way into your soul.
Whether it is his original compositions or an innovative version of a traditional folk song, his singing style and Zen-like calm will leave you wanting more.
Visit the website at www.6onthesquare.org for tickets and future event information. Purchase tickets on-line at the discounted price of $12 until the day of the show; $15 on the day of the show. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
