NORWICH – Norwich split its weekend contests getting a second straight shutout from senior Timmy Clark in a victory over Chenango Forks Friday.

Clark, who tossed a no-hitter earlier in the week against Whitney Point, showed pinpoint control in allowing just three hits. He struck out seven, walked none, and threw 18 first-pitch strikes to the 25 Forks batters he faced.

Richie Bonney was a perfect 4-for-4 to support Clark, Josh Borfitz had two hits, two runs, and an RBI, while Clark and Thomas Kalicicki added two hits apiece.

Chenango Valley erupted for five runs in the fifth to erase the Tornado’s one-run lead in Saturday’s game.
