OTSELIC – Otselic Valley Central School has announced this year’s Valedictorian, Rebecca Porter. Rebecca is the daughter of Wayne and Laura Porter of Otselic. She will be attending the Rochester Institute of Technology to major in Mechanical Engineering. Throughout her high school career, Rebecca has been involved in numerous activities within the school, such as various clubs, band, chorus, and honor society. She has been a positive role model due to her vast array of accomplishments during her high school career. Outside of school, Rebecca has given much time to giving back to her community by offering service at the South Otselic Firehouse as well as being a mentor at the Elementary school.
This year’s Salutatorian is Brittany Swayze. Brittany is the daughter of Mark and Sandra Swayze of Plymouth. This fall she will be attending the Utica College to pursue a degree in Therapeutic Recreation. Brittany is active during school in Drama, Musicals, Soccer, Cheerleading, Spanish Club, Band, Chorus, and National Honor Society.
