Vendors and crafters wanted for Blueberry Festival
COVENTRY – The Coventry Community Events Committee is seeking vendors, crafters and hobbyists for the organization’s third annual Blueberry Festival, to be held on Saturday, July 18 at the Coventry Town Park.
“The last two years were a complete success with hundreds in attendance,” said committee chair Doug Besemer. The family friendly event includes a variety of food and beverage offerings tractor pull, strongman contest, baking contest, horseshoes and games.
This year the committee is hoping to continue to grow the event, by adding more games for both children and adults, and more vendor booths.
They are encouraging local vendors and crafters to participate by offering a 10 x 10 booth space for only $10, Besemer explained.
Vendors will be expected to be there by 9 a.m. on the day of the event so they can be set up before activities start around 10. The Town Park is located behind the Coventry Town Hall at 1839 State Hwy 235 in Coventry.
The Community Events Committee is a volunteer organization comprised of local residents. Other events sponsored by the group include the annual Spring Fling, Cabin Fever Dance and the Halloween Party.
