Police looking for person of interest in Edmeston bank robbery
EDMESTON – The New York State Police have identified a man they believe was involved in an Edmeston bank robbery and are asking the public’s help in apprehending the suspect.
On May 19, a man walked into the NBT Bank branch on West Street in Edmeston and passed a note to the teller demanding she hand over an undisclosed amount of money.
Troopers said they are looking for a person of interest in the case: 38-year-old David A. Lolik. Described as a white male with brown and gray hair, approximately six feet three inches tall and weighing approximately 240 pounds, Lolik may have a brown mustache, goatee, or brown and gray stubble beard. Police released a photograph of Lolik dated January, 2007. Police believe he may have taken steps to alter his appearance. He was last seen in Schenectady on May 19.
Lolik was last known to reside in Edmeston and has ties to the Hartwick area. He also previously resided in Norwich, Oneonta and Schenectady.
Any person with information regarding Lolik’s current location or his whereabouts since May 19 is asked to contact the New York State Police.
