Five teens arrested in Preston burglary
OXFORD – Five Oxford teenagers were arrested Wednesday for allegedly breaking into a Town of Preston residence.
Chenango County Sheriff’s deputies, along with Oxford Police, arrested the five teens after a joint investigation into the burglary.
Arrested were:
• David I. Dunagan, 17, Oxford
• Zachary T. Hathaway, 19, McDonough
• Lacey J. Brazee, 17, McDonough
• Joseph N. Whaley, 17, Oxford
• Jeffrey M. Sabines, 18, McDonough
All five were charged with second degree burglary. They were each arraigned and remanded to the Chenango County Jail on $5,000 cash bail. They are scheduled to appear in the Town of Preston Court on Tuesday.
