Oxford Rotary plans July Fourth raffle

OXFORD – You may have seen June Phillips and Sandy Phetteplace, Oxford Rotary Club president, greeting people outside of the Clachan Coffee House recently, with information about an Oxford Rotary 4th of July Raffle. The raffle is for a Picnic Basket filled with picnic items and food Gift Certificates valued at $100! Tickets can still be purchased from any Oxford Rotary member. Proceeds will benefit local youth programs and scholarships.
You will be seeing the Oxford Rotary members again in the month of July during the Oxford Community Band Concerts. When the band is playing in LaFayette Park (4 of their 6 concerts), the Oxford Rotary will be there selling hot dogs and soda. People coming to hear the 7:30 – 8:30 PM, Thursday night music in the park, (July 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd), will be able to dine al fresco while supporting this fine community service organization.

The Oxford Rotary Club meets at 6:30 PM, each Thursday at the Clachan Coffee House in Oxford located on the park between 6 On The Square and Bartle's Pharmacy.
