Colorscape needs you - to volunteer!
NORWICH – Colorscape Chenango Arts Festival is all about community. So what better way to participate in the community than being a Colorscape volunteer!
“We’re expecting a big turnout this year’s Colorscape Chenango Arts Festival,” says Susan Connelly, Colorscape Volunteer Coordinator. “Whether you’ve been a volunteer in the past, or thought about volunteering, we can use your help this year.”
Volunteers are needed for the 15th Annual Colorscape Chenango Arts Festival, Saturday, Sept. 12 and Sunday, Sept. 13. Participants in this year’s event will receive enamel pins and complimentary 2009 t-shirts, in addition to the gratitude of the festival’s organizers and attendees alike.
Volunteers are needed for a wide variety of jobs: watching artists’ booths as they take much-needed breaks, working in the Information Booth, selling souvenirs and answering visitors’ questions, or maybe sitting with the Student Art Exhibit in the Arts Council Gallery. If you like to work with children and glitter, help is always needed in Art Zone 1. Or you might prefer to spend your shift walking the parks, talking to people about the Festival as an Evaluator; or selling raffle tickets.
If you want to help, we can find the right job for you. Volunteering at Colorscape is so much fun you can hardly call it work!
