Guilford holds meeting, open house at new facility
GUILFORD – A year after ground was broken on the capital project, Guilford’s new town hall and highway garage are open for business.
The town held its first board meeting in the new facility, located at 223 Marble Road in Guilford, Wednesday. On Saturday, an open house will be held to celebrate the facility’s grand opening. The event, which will take place from 1 to 3 p.m., will include tours of both buildings and light refreshments. All are welcome to attend.
The new town hall has been designated by the Chenango County Board of Elections to replace the old facility as the official polling location. It will be used in this capacity for the first time during the primary election planned for next Tuesday, Sept. 15.
