NORWICH – The Chenango Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (CSPCA) welcomed an NBT Bank United Way Team on Saturday, Sept. 26 for outdoor cleanup of the grounds and buildings.

According to Carol Hedlund, CSPCA Executive Director, “The group of United Way volunteers who arrived here on Saturday was amazing. Ferol Baker, our volunteer coordinator had a laundry list of projects to be done and they completed them all with smiles on all of their faces. They hosed down the exterior of the buildings, cleaned up our walking trail, organized our basement and did gardening as well. It was a fun and productive day for all and I am truly thankful for their assistance.”
