S-E Drama Club presents “Deja Vu” this weekend

SHERBURNE – The S-E Drama Club is at it again preparing their annual fall production to be presented Nov. 6 & 7, titled “Déjà Vu: An Evening of One Act Plays.” The show features 12 short one-act plays with students directing five of them.
The student directors; Taylor Morris, Rachel Walters, Liza Taylor, Isaac Mettler, and Lulu Riley, were responsible for choosing their one-act play, they decided how auditions should take place and ran the auditions, and then they were part of the casting decision process. They are also responsible for making decisions on lighting, sound cues, costumes, props and set. This year two students, Liza Taylor and Lulu Riley, have written and are directing their own plays.
The evening includes both comedic and dramatic plays and gives many students excellent actor opportunities. This fall’s auditions turned out a record 57 students. The one-act plays in the fall are a good way to break in new participants and it also serves as a training ground for future performances. This production has 41 students on stage including: Ryan Bagnall, Kandace Barrows, Catherine Behret, Ethan Cameron, Nicole Carpenter, Amanda Clark, Joelle Clark, Delaney Cook, Tammie Crane, Margaret Dushko, Zoe Enscoe, Elizabeth Farrow, Geana Giglio, Brent Guiles, Alyson Hicks, Michael Holeck, Marni Horton, Molly Karaman, Claire Khoury, Mick Khoury, Mary Longman, Bobby Marvin, Megan Matott, Taylor Morris, Eric Muth, Haley Muth, Craig Natoli, Molly Ogden, Kayla Osterndorff, Lulu Riley, Megan Rogers, Emilee Smith, Matt Smith, Shannon Staley, Jacob Taylor, Liza Taylor, Kyle Tenney, Brad Ward, Rachel Walters, Hannah Weinell, and Gaven Wheeler.
Tickets are $5 and will be available at the door at the S-E High School auditorium where the show starts at 7 p.m.
