WATKINS GLEN – Makenzie Williams led Norwich to a fourth-place finish in the Section IV, Class B swimming meet placing second in the 100-yard breaststroke, while also swimming a leg on the third-place 200-yard medley relay.

Williams timed a 1:13.60 to place second in the breaststroke. She entered the event as the second seed, and was able to hold her spot. "For the most part, we held all of our positions (from preliminary qualifying)," said Norwich coach Amanda Downey.  "We were really shocked and really happy in finishing fourth in the section. It was more than we expected. With only one senior and two juniors, hopefully we can move into the top three in the next few years."
