The global warming story is unraveling. Mainstream media ignored the story. But Fox and other media have covered it: Hackers discovered emails between top global warming scientists that reveal despicable behavior.
The scientists fudged data. They souped-up numbers to make us believe the earth was warming more rapidly than it probably was. They made claims that now appear to be exaggerated. They conveniently lost the data that supported their claims. They ostracized scientists who did not go along with their script. They punished dissent by prominent scientists. They faked peer review. Basically they said “You review my stuff and I’ll review yours. And we will call that scientific peer review.”
In other words they forgot they were scientists. They behaved as political activists. Scientists follow the data to logical conclusions, no matter their feelings. These birds decided on the conclusion they wanted, then fiddled the data to support it.
This embarrasses politicians around the world. They hoped to haul in zillions by taxing us back to supposedly healthier climate. They wrote the cap and trade bill. Primarily a fat tax on energy. They called summits where they could hog the cameras. They wrote fancy treaties. They taxed you to subsidize windmills and solar. They wrote plans to do away with your light bulbs, your gas-burning car.
They threatened to disrupt your way of life. And to seize more of your money. Inspired by the warming script fed to them by – in part – corrupt scientists. A script that is being shredded by more revelations every week.
Meanwhile an industry of capitalist-hating eco-thugs has sprung up. Its members love to harass you for driving your pickup. Or for drinking milk and eating steak. Because they come from gas belching cows.
My wife’s best friend saw this mess coming. He is no scientist. He merely applied some common sense. Climate? Duhh, look at the sun, he said. Its powers are too vast to calculate. So vast as to make the emissions of earthlings look puny by comparison.
Duhh, look at history, he said. Where you will find ice ages and warm ages, long before your SUV existed. Duhh, look at those birds insisting the debate is over, the science settled. Any time you hear the debate is over you know something’s fishy.
Duhh, look at the temperatures and the predictions. Scientists predicted ever higher temperatures. Yet in the last decade we have seen lower or stable temperatures. Duhh, look how they changed the term “global warming” to “climate change.” Now why would they do that? You know why. And when on earth did climate change NOT happen?
As usual, common sense ain’t so common. Among a lot of global warming scientists it is in short supply. With Al Gore it is scarce, except when it comes to making money off this. With many of our leaders it does not exist.
The “global warming” scare may turn into a scam. It is certainly shaping up to become the biggest pie-in-the-face of the last hundred years.
