NORWICH – A Norwich man facing four counts of statutory rape pleaded guilty to the top two charges and was sentenced to five years in state prison Friday.

Myron K. Frasier, 42, of Beebe Avenue, Norwich, was arrested at around 5 a.m. March 18 by Norwich Police Officers over an incident that allegedly took place at around 10 p.m. the night before.

District Attorney Joseph McBride said the charges involved Frasier having an ongoing sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl. McBride said Frasier threatened to shoot her if she ever contacted police.
