Voices of Tabernacle perform Saturday concert
Voices of Tabernacle, under the direction of Anita Hummer, will present their annual Holiday Concert, “Contemporary Choral,” at 3 p.m. Saturday. It will be held at the Sherburne United Methodist Church, 11 Chapel Street in Sherburne. This is a new location. The chorus will sing a few contemporary works composed by Becky Sabin: Sherburne, Dianne and Jim McDowell: Eaton, Tom Rasely: McDonough and Gordon D. Townsend: Hamilton. Other selections will include a Contata and traditional favorites. Meena Conant of Norwich is a soprano soloist and Steven Sabin of Sherburne a cello soloist. Piano students of Anita Humer will performs holiday selections: Morgan Gunther, Jason Handy, Mick Khoury, Stephanie and Shannon Staley, Jeffrey Taylor, Ethan Waterman, Hayden Zahn. Admission is $8.
