Wildlife artist Raymond Sahtila featured in Arts Council exhibit

NORWICH – The Chenango County Council of the Arts, Norwich, announces the opening of its fourth exhibit of the 2009-2010 season. Noted wildlife artist Raymond Sahtila will present 43 of his works, depicting everything from African lions to Mandarin ducks.

An opening reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday in the Mariea Brown and Raymond Loft galleries at 27 West Main St.

Sahtila is a graduate of the New York School of Art and Design, where he studied to become a commercial artist. He soon realized his true passion and calling was wildlife art and thus began to pursue his dream.
