Leadership Chenango Class of 2010 at half way point

NORWICH – The Leadership Chenango Class of 2010 has had a diverse array of experiences and exposure to much of Chenango County since the Kick-Off Dinner that was held on October 22nd. On January 21st, the class attended their eighth full day of programming, this time focusing on health care at Chenango Memorial Hospital.

Since October, the 2010 class has experienced full day programming on many topics with enriching discussion, great presentations from local leaders, and eye-opening views of what Chenango County is really about. These sessions have included topics such as law enforcement and the judicial system, leadership and community leadership, one of three Chenango County bus trips, local government, and finally health care. The class also attended an orientation day and a two day retreat.

Upcoming topics include local business, board work training and volunteerism, two more Chenango County bus trips, agribusiness, leadership review, class member reports and graduation. The class will also have an opportunity to learn more about topics that most interest them for two “class days.”
