DVD Patrol
It’s Mystery Time, Patrollers! The DVD Patrol has been trying to solve the puzzle that’s been making everyone think for sometime. Where in the World have our new releases gone? After putting the Patrol Master Detective, the Toddster, on the trail. Our releases were found in the last place we would’ve looked. In the back of our shipping van. One of our staff thought Easter could start a little early and we had our own version of a Easter Egg hunt with a twist. Let’s look and see what there is this time around.

Sherlock Holmes - There have been many great detectives over the years but none greater than the master himself Sherlock Holmes. Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law star in this latest incarnation as Holmes and his partner Dr. Watson. The team is on the trail of a mysterious cult leader called Blackwood (Mark Strong). They manage to catch Blackwood and take him to jail but Blackwood dies strangely but not before leaving Holmes a cryptic message of lives hanging in the balance. Some time later, Blackwood’s body disappears and witnesses claim they have seen him return from the grave desiring a rematch with Holmes. How can Holmes, with Watson’s help, stop an enemy who can come back to life? This one is high on the Toddster’s list. Downey is getting ready for “Iron Man 2” coming out on May 7 and a sequel is already in the works with Downey coming back with Law teaming for a second adventure. Stay tuned!
Alvin and the Chipmunks (The Squeakuel) - They say that imitation is the ultimate form of flattery. The boys are back for more fun and music as Alvin, Simon, and Theodore hit the stage one more time. They don’t start out that way. Dave Seville (Jason Lee) ends up getting hurt and so he sends them to stay with his nephew Toby (Zachary Levi) for awhile. Alvin and the guys decide their going to take some time off. At school, they find out that their music program might be closed down. They hear about a music contest where they can win some money to keep it going. Another group might give them a run for their money as Brittany, Eleanor, and Jeanette take the stage themselves. It’s a Battle of the Bands as the Chipmunks take on the Chippettes. Who will win? Levi is currently finishing up the third season of “Chuck” which can be seen on Mondays at 8 p.m. on NBC.
