NORWICH – The Chenango County tax sale of forfeiture properties has been scheduled for 10 a.m. June 24 in the Supervisor’s Chambers of the County Office Building in Norwich.

The properties were acquired by reason of nonpayment of 2006 taxes and related charges.

There are currently 45 parcels that are subject to foreclosure sale, including three that were left over from last year’s sale and two that had been in litigation. The majority of the properties are vacant land, 15 are one to three family residences or apartments, and 10 are manufactured housing.
