Roots and Wings in need of basic food items

NORWICH – Roots and Wings has an immediate need for non-perishable food items for its food pantry. According to Director Melinda Mandeville, specific items needed include cereals, soups, juice, pastas and sauces, peanut butter and tuna fish.

Roots and Wings, which provides both emergency services and basic needs to those in need, is a division of Catholic Charities of Chenango County. The organization’s Barry Street location is both food pantry and clothing bank, and provides household goods, furniture and a host of other services.
