BAINBRIDGE – A moving van and a station wagon collided Thursday night in the Town of Bainbridge at the intersection of State Highway 206 and County Road 17, trapping a woman inside her vehicle for over 30 minutes.

Chenango County Fire Coordinator Matthew Beckwith said the vehicles collided when a moving van traveling south on 206 passed through the intersection and into the path of the station wagon at about 6 p.m.

Emergency crews from the Bainbridge, Coventry, Afton, Sidney and Masonville responded tot he scene and worked to free the station wagon’s driver from the wreckage for about 30 minutes.
