Norwich Campus sends 53 students as Morrisville State College hosts commencement Saturday
NORWICH – On Saturday, commencement ceremonies will be held at Morrisville State College for approximately 700 soon-to-be graduates, 53 of whom hail from the Norwich campus.
All 53 students will receive their associate degree in a variety of fields, including human services, criminal justice, office technology, liberal arts, individual studies and business.
“They should be proud of this accomplishment, and we’re extremely proud of them, as they prepare to face the numerous challenges they will face in the future,” said Norwich Campus Dean Marsha Cornelius. “By taking advantage of the educational opportunities we provide here locally, they have given themselves a great chance to further expand upon their skills, and they’re a great example of what we can accomplish here at the Norwich campus.”
This year’s keynote speaker will be GTECH Corporation Senior Vice President of Global Technology Solutions Matthew Whalen, who graduated from Morrisville State College in 1989 with an associate degree in computer science.
