CMH Foundation reports fundraising results

NORWICH – The Chenango Memorial Hospital Foundation, Inc. raised $140,242 during the past year according to Gretchen Walsh, Chairman. “Overall, this was our best year. We are very thankful to the many generous donors in our community who support our hospital.” The annual campaign alone raised nearly $92,000, the highest in 8 years. The Foundation’s annual spring golf tournament garnered another $24,000 despite the difficult economy.

In addition, donors are including the CMH Foundation in their planned giving arrangements. “Their thoughtfulness has added significantly to our fund raising numbers,” reported Debbie Cassavaugh, Executive Director. “With an attorney’s guidance, donors can reap tax benefits and make a substantial gift to the Foundation at the same time. It’s a win/win for everyone.”
