Peraza receives jersey

Bob Peraza (center), father of Robert Peraza, is presented with a number 82 jersey by Watertown Revolution coach, Ron Whiting (left) and volunteer Steve Prime at last Saturday’s semi-pro football game at Norwich High School. Watertown faced Finger Lakes in the Robert D. Peraza Memorial Scholarship Game. Robert Peraza wore number 82 during his football playing days at Norwich High School. He died on Sept. 11, 2001 following the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. Whiting was a teammate of Peraza’s for two seasons, and Prime was a Norwich classmate. (Frank Speziale Photo)
