NORWICH – A full flight of 36 teams participated in Chenango Memorial Hospital Foundation’s 13th annual golf tournament and picnic held May 28 at the Canasawacta Country Club.

“This tournament was outstanding,” said John Masse, co-chair of the event. “We changed the sponsorship levels a little, which enabled us to raise more money.” The event kicked off with Todd Anderson, of Chianis Anderson in Binghamton, winning $1,000 by sinking a 40 ft putt at the putting contest. Shooting a 58 in the captain and crew format, the tournament’s winners were Tom Emerson, Hugh Leonard, Greg LaMonica and Jason Golden. Second place and one shot behind at 59 went to Pat Flanagan, Mark DeMellier, John Mitchell, and Bill Flanagan.
