GREENE – Commerce Chenango and title sponsor New York Central Mutual are pleased to announce that the 24th Annual Summer Golf Event will be held on Friday at the Genegantslet Golf Club in Greene. Other main sponsors include lunch sponsor Mang Insurance Agency and beverage cart sponsor The Raymond Corporation.

The first Summer Golf Event was held in 1986 as a way of combining a great local sport with a fun and casual networking opportunity for Chamber members. Throughout the day, golfers will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of contests. Prizes will be awarded for: the putting contest, hole in-one contest, on-course trivia, longest drive, closest to the pin, and first, second and third place teams. A full day of golf will be followed by a steak dinner and awards ceremony.
