NORWICH – City residents eager for a way to cool down as summer heats up have a perfect way to do so – Kurt Beyer Pool officially opens its gates at noon today.

City of Norwich Youth Bureau Director Robert Mason announced the opening Thursday and reported the pool would be available to the community from noon to 8 p.m., seven days a week.

According to Kurt Beyer Pool Director Noreen Wessels, children must be accompanied by an adult from noon to 1:30 p.m., which is also during adult open swim, and from 5 to 8 p.m.
