Unadilla Valley 1 17, Cooperstown 7

NEW BERLIN – Brett Smith pitched five innings of relief striking out seven leading Unadilla Valley One to a 10-run blowout of Cooperstown Tuesday in the Otsenango Pony League.

Dakota Kolvik had four hits, two doubles, driving in three runs. Brandon Miles doubled three times plating a pair of runs, and Smith had three hits and one RBI. Chris Emerson and Kerry Smith had RBI singles in the victory.

NEW BERLIN – Robert Burton’s two-run single in the bottom of the fifth gave Schenevus the first game in a doubleheader with UV II Monday, and the visiting completed the Otsenango Pony League sweep as Burton went 3-for-4 with two ribbies in the nightcap.
