Chamber announces golf tournament winners
NORWICH – Commerce Chenango and title sponsor New York Central Mutual are pleased to congratulate all of the winners of the 24th Annual Summer Golf Event that was held recently at the Genegantslet Golf Club in Greene.
The first place team, Adsit Septic, consisting of team members Bob Adsit, Spencer McCredy, James Kitchen and Dave Massedonia, won the overall tournament with a score of 61. Second place went to Team Mang with members John Brown, Dan Grady, Teri Schunk and Dennis Mirabito, and third place to Team Genegantslet with Gail and Kallie Clinton and Cheese and Darlene Lindberg.
Although the $10,000 cash hole-in-one prize went unrewarded, other prizes awarded throughout the day went to Kathi Wagner and Denny Mirabito for the longest drive, Kallie Clinton and Carl Lindberg for closest to the pin, Jim Guerriere for the putting contest and Jim Leonard for the 50/50 raffle.
