Local dance troupe to perform for charity
NORWICH – The Phoenix Project Dance Theater, an independent professional dance company based in Norwich, has been invited to participate in a benefit for the American Cancer Society and Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
The event, called “Impressions,” will take place at 8 p.m. Aug. 26 at the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre in New York City.
The dance concert is in association with Milk and Champagne Productions and features Complexions Contemporary Ballet, critically acclaimed dance studios, top companies, and former Broadway stars. Show will also include performances from YouTube sensation Chaz Buzan.
The Phoenix Project company is owned, directed and produced by Amber Perkins.
