Norse connecting pipeline at new juncture with Dominion
BUFFALO – Norse Energy Corp. has begun construction on a new pipeline interconnection arrangement with Dominion Transmission pipelines located near Morrisville.
The new tap will accommodate deliveries of natural gas into two of Dominion’s parallel transmission pipelines. The selected site will also accommodate future interconnection to the Tennessee Gas Pipeline network, according to a press release from the Norwegian energy company’s offices in New York.
Dominion Transmission, Inc., headquartered in Richmond, Va., provides natural gas gathering, processing, transportation and storage services. It maintains 7,800 miles of pipeline in six states - Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland and Virginia.
