GREENE – The New York State Department of Transportation will hold a second public hearing to discuss proposed improvements to a 5.5-mile segment of state Route 12 from just south of Genegantslet Road (county Rt. 2) to just north of Harbor Road (county Rt. 3A) in Chenango County.

The hearing is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17 in the Greene High School auditorium, 40 South Canal St.

The hearing is necessary due to modifications made during the project’s design phase and subsequent additional property acquisitions.
