Poinsettias raise money for Hospice
NORWICH – It wouldn’t seem like the holidays without Poinsettias. They cheer up your home or make great hostess gifts. Hospice of Chenango County will once again be selling Poinsettias to the public. Order forms should be hitting local mailboxes; plus there are more than thirty schools and companies throughout the county that have internal sales up and running. All orders should be placed by Nov. 29.
The plants come in traditional red, pink, white, or marble – a combination of pink and white leaves. There is also a variety of sizes from which to choose. The plants will be in Norwich on Wednesday, Dec. 8 and can be picked up at the YMCA Community room between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Customers in Afton, Bainbridge, Greene, Oxford, and Sherburne should make plans to claim their plants at their local NBT Bank branch between noon and 2 p.m. Schools and companies will receive their plants that same day.
If you did not have the opportunity to order poinsettias, but would like to support Hospice, simply call the office between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to place an order. All proceeds will go toward caring for current and future patients.
