Earlville Opera House 13th Annual Holiday Show & Sale

EARLVILLE –  Stop in at the Earlville Opera House to find creative one of a kind gifts this holiday season. You’ll find everything from oil paintings to jewelry, blown glass to quilts, hand-made clothing to original baskets. There are goat milk soaps, carved wooden bowls, beautiful pottery, gorgeous hand-knit items, hooked rugs, handmade cards and ornaments. Come pick out artistic, one-of-a-kind gifts for your friends and loved ones. The sale starts the Friday after Thanksgiving at 10am and runs for four weekends. No admission is charged.
Don’t miss the amazing talents from popular artists such as: Pottery from Ede Walker, Hooked Rugs from Audrey Swan, Blown Glass from Terry Slade, Jewelry from Mystic Mountain, Mardi Gras Masques from Gypsy Renaissance, Hand dyed wool from Spinner Hill Farms, Silk Scarves from Sharon Bottle Souva, Carved Curly Maple Kitchen Utensils from Wood Cellar Designs, Fleece Clothing from Frosty Days (a.k.a. Carol Riley) and Earrings from Linden Street Paper.
This year we have two new glass artists, Shauna Walsh Watkins and Kristen Dedi. A new addition is candle maker Faith Dickinson and Heather Sackett features clay sculpture. And there are more new artists expanding variety at this year’s sale.
Sale dates are Nov. 26, 27 & 28, Dec. 4 & 5, 11 & 12 and 18 & 19. Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday are noon to 4 p.m. Admission is free. Special Events during the Holiday Show & Sale:
This year you can combine your shopping pleasure on the second weekend of the sale with a Decorating a “Winter Wonderland” Wreath Workshop at the Earlville Opera House on Sunday, Dec. 5 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. This fun class with Dode Page is offered with fresh baked cookies and refreshments for getting in the holiday spirit.  All materials will be assembled for participants and will include a fresh all-natural balsam and white pine wreath: $22, $20 EOH member - includes all materials and refreshments.
Or come on the last weekend of the sale and rejoice in the season with a Holiday Tea on Sunday, Dec.19 from 2-4 p.m. in conjunction with our holiday sale. Decadent home-baked sweets will be served in the lovely Arts Cafe along with English tea or a spicy herbal brew. At $10 per person or $8 for members, proceeds from the Holiday Tea support scholarships, artist fees and materials for the many music and art programs offered for youth.
The Earlville Opera House is located at 18 East Main Street, in Earlville, on Route 12B. The Holiday Sale is a community celebration sponsored by the Earlville Opera House. A portion of each sale will benefit the Opera House’s Art Gallery, but even more importantly supports the amazing work of our local artists.
