Voices of Tabernacle to perform this weekend

SHERBURNE – Voices of Tabernacle, directed by Anita Humer, will present “Reflections of Christmas” on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. The concert will be held at the Sherburne United Methodist Church on 11 Chapel St. in Sherburne.
“Reflections of Christmas” will include many traditional favorite carols accompanied by a brass quartet and woodwind ensemble with accompanist, Rosemary Jaytanie. Piano students of Anita Humer will perform arrangements of carols ending with a work for two pianos – eight hands, “March of the Toys,” by Victor Herbert.
Vocal soloists are Meena Conant from Norwich and Arleen Heck from Sherburne.
For the grand finale, the Voices of Tabernacle will sing the Cantata, “Rejoice, Believers!” composed by John Coates.
Sponsored by the Sherburne United Methodist Church this concert is made possible in part by funds from the Broome and Chenango Decentralization Project.
General Admission is $8 and children ages ten and under are free.
