Police serving warrant discover additional drug activity

NORWICH – A Norwich man wanted on a warrant for selling marijuana to an underage youth was brought up on several more charges Monday after officers allegedly discovered him in his home with a number of other drugs and paraphernalia.

Police said they began investigating 21-year-old Christopher Bonno after receiving a complaint from an eyewitness who claimed to see him making drug exchanges with youths in a city parking lot Sunday.

Police investigated the complaint and eventually sought a felony warrant for Bonno’s arrest. The warrant charges Bonno with second degree sale of marijuana, a D class felony, claiming he sold the drug to a youth under the age of 16.
