SHERBURNE – Chenango Valley Pet Foods Inc. recently received a $3 million line of credit to purchase the ingredients it needs for producing dry dog and cat foods for customers, according to General Manager Michael Fichera.
The capital is periodically procured to meet production demands.
“Business has been good,” said Fichera.
Headquartered in the Village of Sherburne, Chenango Valley Pet Foods is a contract manufacturer specializing in holistic, natural and organic pet food. It manufactures product for 50 plus customers, including super-premium branded customers and private label brand retail customers. Product is shipped within the United States and abroad to several foreign countries, including Singapore, Taiwan and Korea.
Allegiance Capital Corp. facilitated the deal for Chenango Valley Pet Foods with BHC Interim Funding L.P. of New York City.
BHC Interim Funding III, L.P. is a dedicated fund established to provide short-term mezzanine and bridge capital to U.S. companies that require capital for acquisitions or recapitalizations, to finance profitable growth or expansion, to augment working capital and/or to capitalize on time-sensitive opportunities.
