JOHNSON CITY – Oneonta held Norwich to one basket in the first quarter, and built a 20-3 lead en route to a victory Monday afternoon at the Pete Hyde Tournament.
Sienna Wisse scored 13 points in the first half for Oneonta, who fought off Norwich’s comeback effort. “After the first 10 minutes of the game, we played them dead even,” said Norwich coach Josh Bennett. “We definitely did not come into this game prepared to play at Oneonta’s pace.
