Vets' Home nurse Ann Hodge honored

Ann Hodge received the Nurse of Distinction Award from the New York Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (NYAHSA) in a ceremony held earlier this month at the New York State Veterans’ Home in Oxford. Hodge, a nurse administrator at the Oxford Vets’ Home, was one of 18 individuals to be recognized with the award across the state, and one of two in the Southern Tier. She was nominated for the honor by Alvy Tronolone, the facility’s assistant director of nursing. Pictured are Vets’ Home Administrator Sally Venugopalan; Assemblyman Clifford Crouch; Hodge; Kristen Myers, Sr. Director of Member Services for NYAHSA; Tronolone; and Director of Nursing Linda Winston.
