Oralls' work featured at NBT Bank
NORWICH – NBT Bank’s Wall of Art is featuring the photographic artwork of Chris Oralls at the bank’s Norwich Office on South Broad Street. His work will be on display until late February.
Oralls aims to capture the simple beauty in nature in each of his compositions. “I like to give my work’s viewers the sense that they are a part of that very moment I captured on film,” he said.
NBT Bank is partnering with the Chenango County Council of the Arts to highlight the creativity of area residents through the Wall of Art. Council Executive Director Victoria Kappel said: “It is evident that Chris truly sees the beauty of nature in its truest form. He has a very keen artistic ability to share that beauty with others and redevelop our appreciation for the world around us.”
Oralls, 40, was born and raised in Central New York. Oralls’ onetime hobby quickly grew into a full-time career and the establishment of his own business - No Bull Photography. Over the past several years, Oralls has participated in several art shows and galleries including a solo showing in June and July 2010 at the Chenango County Council of the Arts Gallery in Norwich, N.Y. In March 2011, his work will also be on display at the Autumn Café in Oneonta.
