Police searching for second grocery store robbery suspect

BAINBRIDGE – The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of a woman wanted for her role in an armed robbery at grocery store in November.

The Chenango County Court issued a warrant for the arrest of 27-year-old Jamie L. Ballard last week after police arrested her alleged co-conspirator in late February. The warrant accuses Ballard of second degree robbery, a class C felony.

Lt. Richard Cobb said Ballard’s last known residence was in the Town of Masonville, but said she also has connections to the Sidney area. He said investigators believe she has fled the area, but authorities are still searching for her in New York.
