Aikins, 28, was taken into custody at his residence – without incident – at 3:30 p.m. Thursday. He was charged with second degree unlawful surveillance, a class E felony.

“At approximately 1:45 p.m., school administrators alerted the Norwich Police to an audio/visual recording device that was found in a locker room at the Norwich High School on Midland Drive,” stated Police Chief Joseph Angelino, who added the investigation determined there were people present in the girl’s locker room at the time.
