Public hearing tonight on Oxford’s proposed capital project

OXFORD – The Oxford Academy and Central School District will hold a public information session at 6 tonight in the Oxford Primary School multipurpose room regarding the proposed $11.3 million capital project which will go before voters next week.
The session is slated to include a presentation on the project’s scope of work, as well as a question and answer period. Members of the district’s administration and board of education will be on hand, as will consultants from the Bernier Carr Group.
The proposed project will go before voters in a referendum Thursday, June 23. Polls will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the Oxford High School Media Center. To be eligible to vote, an individual must be a U.S. citizen over the age of 18 and have resided in the district for a minimum of 30 days.
