NHS honors top grads

NORWICH – The Norwich City School District honored its top two graduates at commencement ceremonies for the Class of 2011 on Saturday.
Cleo Daoud was named Norwich High School’s 2011Valedictorian. Cleo is the daughter of Dr. Said and Denise Daoud. Cleo plans to attend Bowdoin College in the fall and pursue a major in Physics. Her interests include: Indoor/Outdoor Track & Field, playing the violin, and reading.
Hayley Chwazik-Gee was named Norwich High School’s 2011 Salutatorian. Hayley is the daughter of Fred Gee and Lorry Chwazik. Hayley will be spending a year in Privas, France as a Rotary Youth Exchange Student. Upon returning, Hayley will attend Boston College to study international relations and communications in hopes of becoming a Foreign Service worker. Her interests include: Piano, violin, singing, swimming, reading, and traveling.
