HAMILTON – Sherburne snapped a 6-6 tie scoring two runs in the top of the sixth to defeat Hamilton in the Otsenango Pony League Tuesday night.
Mike Harlot and Ben Khoury singled for Sherburne, and the duo moved around the bases scoring on Hamilton passed balls combined with an infield error on Mick Khoury’s ground ball.
Jesse Yerton went 3-for-4 from the lead-off position scoring three times for Sherburne. Yerton and Matt Smith each scored in the first after Nate Piazzi’s single. Yerton also pitched three innings of relief to earn the victory. Sherburne (4-1) hosts Oxford on Thursday.

Unadilla Valley 16, Cobleskill II 0 (5 innings)
NEW BERLIN – Unadilla Valley raised its record to 5-0 in division play blanking Cobleskill II Tuesday.
Connor Pope threw a one-hit shutout for UV finishing with seven strikeouts and three walks. Austin Lewis went 4-for-5 with three RBI and three runs, Austin had a 3-for-4 day with three runs, Kyle King had three hits and two ribbies, Will Martin finished with two hits, three runs, and two stolen bases, Brendan Brooker collected two hits, and Pope helped his own cause with two sacrifice bunts and two RBI.

Norwich 13, Oxford 8
OXFORD – Cameron Prime had three hits and three runs scored from the lead-off position, and his mates Robbie Wheeler and Cody Barnes each drove in three runs in Norwich’s win Monday.
Barnes also had three hits and smacked a three-run homer in the first inning to tie the game at 4-4. Norwich added seven more runs in the second inning to establish command of the game.
Marcus Dodd added a 3-for-4 day at the plate for Norwich, while Robert Jeffrey, Wheeler, and Jeremy Fitch finished with two hits in support of winning pitcher Cody Graves.
Joe Nelson scored three runs for Oxford, while Matt Moore and Cameron Heggie scored two runs apiece.
The victory improved Norwich’s record to 11-2 overall.
