Hospital purchases CDI

NORWICH – UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital recently purchased Central Diagnostic Imaging (CDI) from Dr. Larry Rosenblum, upon Dr. Rosenblum’s retirement.

This site at 6 Newton Ave. in Norwich, now called UHS Imaging - Norwich, will become the hospital’s outpatient medical imaging site. The MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) area already has been renovated and is open for MRI studies. Within the next six weeks, after further renovations are completed, the rest of the services to be offered at that site will include ultrasound, bone densitometry, digital mammography, and x-ray.

Chris Kisacky, Vice President Operations, stated: “While we renovate the facility, patients for all services except MRI will register and have their imaging studies at the hospital. Eventually, outpatients will receive most of their diagnostic services at the new site, which offers the convenience of on-site parking. Future plans include opening a breast center at the Newton Avenue site as well. ”
