EAST PHARSALIA – The McDonough Post Office has extended its services to residents of the East Pharsalia whose community postal service, located on 869 County Road 10, was suspended last Friday.

The McDonough Post Office, located at 1600 State Highway 220, will now serve 55 post office box holders from East Pharsalia with over-the-counter handout service. East Pharsalia residents are permitted to use their current addresses.

There is no change for delivery services in the surrounding area. According to postal officials, no plans for a return of postal services to East Pharsalia have been established at this time.
