SHERBURNE – Music in the Park summer concerts for 2011 continue Wednesday night with the Smyrna Citizens Band.

Continue the summer season of concerts and experience the music of Smyrna Citizens Band. See familiar faces on the stage, ranging in age from teens to much older. These musicians have been coming together to play music for many generations and will be playing marches and other familiar tunes. This is a bit of small town America at its best.

Save Wednesday evenings to enjoy the music and camaraderie of Music in the Park in Gaines Park next to the Public Library in Sherburne. The concerts are free. Bring your own chair or blanket. You can buy dinner from the Rotary food booth. Music starts at 6 p.m. and is done by 8:30. No rain dates again this summer; if there is a downpour the concert is held at the Sherburne Fire Hall or the Sherburne-Earlville School Auditorium. The rain location will be posted on the large Music in the Park sign located on the UCC lawn along Rte 12.
